There's a new biography of Edward 'Kid' Ory, the legendary New Orleans trombonist due for publication on October 2nd. The recommended Retail Price is £36.95 hardback, but the Book Depository will be selling it mail order for £27.71 inc free delivery.

sounds brilliant. This will be on my Christmas prexsent list. I particularly enjoyed Pops Foster's autobiography which said some friendly/rude things about Kid Ory. A great period of music history, so I look forward to some good stories.
