I have just noticed that tickets are now on sale for 'An Evening With The Wilson Family' at the Sage Gateshead on Friday February 15th 2013. The Concert is part of the Folkworks 'A Night Out In Gateshead' series, as was the Elliotts 50th Anniversary family concert back in March where the Wilsons were outstanding.

The Wilsons were in Newcastle last night supporting Martin Carthy at a new venue for folk music the 'Brew-dog' pub. The place was heaving! full of 'folkies' young and old which was great to see. Both the Wilsons and Martin each did two spots which were equally met with rapturous applause. A fantastic night and a great crowd, lets hope there is more to follow.

For anyone, like a few of my mates, who were thinking of leaving booking their seats until the last minute BEWARE!
As of a couple of days ago, the Sage website booking office was showing a total of 104 available seats, across all levels, but there are actually only 22 SEATS left - the rest are for 'unreserved standing' on the flanks on each level

                  Wilsons are on in Gateshead Sage one night and Saltburn another- why not stay in Saltburn the first night and in Gateshead the second?
Or better still, Durham on both nights- you'll still hear them from all of those places
