Pete Townsend on the Daily Show: Part 1, Part 2. (Links for U.S. viewers, at least.)

He was flogging his new memoir, of course: This Is Who I Am (Rolling Stone review), in the Guardian.

It's a nice interview. Some good stuff about the music industry and his approach to songwriting in the second part.

There's another Townshend interview here. This one's a 30-minute special from BBC Radio 4's Front Row (an arts magazine programme), broadcast on October 9. Townshend gets quite annoyed when the interviewer raises his run-in with the authorities over child pornography charges.
