He gave the keynote address at the Southeast regional Folk Alliance conference in 2011 and talked mostly about all the old time banjo players (many who were quite obscure) that he had encountered back in the 60s and 70s. Subject: RE: Where is David Holt? From: Bettynh Date: 21 Oct 12 - 02:22 PM "Hairyman" is a track on this album. He was in fine voice at the Storytelling Festival this year in Jonesboro. From the look of his tour list, he doesn't come north of the Mason-Dixon line. ;-( |
