We came to the house at midnight;
We entered the open door;
There were diamonds all over the table,
And aces and kings on the floor.

My grandfather occasionally quoted the verse above, 70 years ago or so. Anybody recognize it? know any more of it? know if there was a tune?

Thanks Sinsull - it looks as if my grandfather's verse was from a parody of South Coast.
