I once voted for a Conservative in Canada. Not because he was a Conservative, but because he was a good man: honest, up-front and determined. He never went anywhere in government, but he did fly Canadian fighter jets in his military life and in doing so covered my ass as a civilian. I voted for him because he was honest, even though I disagreed with his political party. I always figured he'd put his considered opinion ahead of his party's opinion. From what I saw of his voting record in the Hansard, he did. That's likely why he never went       anywhere in the party.

IMO, they are the people needed in the House and Senate. One can hope.

yes i have dyslexia, as i have posted mamny times in rresponse to the personal attacks from bigited and ignorant people like kringle. i also did not grow up with english as my first language. but anglos rarely miss the opportunity to git dem damn ferners.

infact i cam type almost as well in french and a bit in gaelic and spanish. however when i am chatting on line with french speakers they never attack me for my typing weaknesses, because they are actually interested in meeting and hearing about other cultures. especially the musicains
