Rainy Camp is a singing weekend sponsored by the Seattle Song Circle during the last weekend in January at Camp Don Bosco near Carnation Washington. If you are interested Information is on the Seattle Folklore Society website www.seafolklore.org. In fact they don't sing them at Church either for the most part. So I will resurrect some and others can sing songs from their tradition as well. Oh..do not even think of singing old time religion with 47 verses. I expect we will have a Jewish cantor and a couple of Protestant ministers in attendance at camp at least. |
