Country Joe is still very much alive and active, performing regularly, I beleive he has on occasion added additional words to the song in live shows.

I usually sing Country Joe's words, though I did once use "Next stop is Old Saddam".

I once had a go but eventually abandoned it because the 'best by' date for anything about Iraq/Afghanistan or wherever is always imminent.....
