Subject: Lyr Add: TEARS IN THE WIND (from Chicken Shack) From: Roughyed Date: 17 Aug 05 - 06:17 PM I wonder whether the original request was answered from the second posting but as there is no record and it was later refreshed, this is from memory but I think it is pretty accurate give or take a line. I really liked the track and I've got it on a vinyl single somewhere or other. It wasn't as big a hit as I'd Rather Go Blind but I preferred it. Never mind, the things you never say Never mind, the looks that never came my way You could have told me About this thing About the time You went off with him Your tomorrow Is my today Tears in the wind Things we will never say You made me love you so much Like I never done before I given you everything And what is more I never tried to look elsewhere Well I suppose I should have done For all you care What's the point Wishing my life away Crying my eyes out Over things you'll never say It's just that your leaving Has made me blue Tears in the Wind Tears I will never cry |

Loved that track though I think a "B" side of theirs was my favourite. It was called "Hey Baby" and at the time I thought it was an amazing guitar solo by Stan. Thanks again. |
