Subject: RE: Whitby Spring Session 3rd-5th May 2013 From: GUEST,concerened Date: 05 Mar 13 - 07:22 AM well done Moor and Coast!! you have timed your fest to clash with Filey on the same days!! |
Subject: RE: Whitby Spring Session 3rd-5th May 2013 From: GUEST,M&C Date: 05 Mar 13 - 08:49 AM Hi "concerned"... we ran the Moor & Coast Festival for 13 years mostly on this May Bank Holiday weekend... When we finished the festival I changed the Whitby Spring Session to the end of May, and I got "flack" for being on the same weekend as Rydale... last year we couldn't do anything cos of the Queens Jubilee so we thought we would go back to our normal spot... We do not class ourselves as a festival anyway... we are a session weekend... very similar to Filey... more of a folk club with camping... limited numbers of people... Its about 27 miles from Whitby to Filey... (a similar distance to Rydale) so I dont think we will impact on each other... I hope not...!! Glen Moor & Coast |

If you get yourself accommodation in Scarborough you can visit two festivals in one weekend. A bonus me thinks. Everyone else please note "Concerened" is spelt that way because thats the way the "guest" spelt it. |
