I SHOULD have posted this last week , but got sidetracked and forgot
TONIGHT at Maidenhead we have Mrs Admiral , Pearl O Neil l doing a whole evening , not just a Floor Spot
I hear reports that there MAY even be a bit of 'Port and Brandy' !!

Hi Guys
I was about to post and say thanks Terry, the first to volunteer and even though I still didn't get it quite right I really enjoyed the blues with you - and the gal did good means an awful lot.
Your words Mick mean so much too!
It's been hard to get it together, with colds, a leak in the living room, and a car that decided to drop it's suspension but we got through it with the help of good friends and unexpected family turning up....

Tony decided I should leave the country after the gig - a good move-
his birthday gift to me is a weekend in Amsterdam - no he's going into the window in the red light district - someone has to pay for my car!! I'm finding an Irish Bar on Sunday !

Did I enjoy it - yes with great support and singing from the club and those supporters ( not folkies)!

Would I do it again - NOOOO - will I give up - Nooo but at least now there is no pressure - and yes I managed it with the support of words
as I took the wrong route and did most (not all) of songs in the first time out.

Pearl - I'm glad the evening went well and that you're not going to give up singing.

The idea that Tony might be once again donning his leather miniskirt and fishnet tights suggests that this weekend might be a good time for Amsterdam residents to visit those relatives in the country that they keep meaning to see!
