Subject: Kendall, honorary Irishman From: kendall Date: 17 Mar 13 - 07:13 AM Many years ago while serving in the Fish & Wildlife service, I shipped aboard a number of Coast Guard vessels to enforce international treaties. One St. Patrick's day I broke out my guitar and entertained some of the enlisted men. The petty officer who ran the ship's store was so pleased with my collection of Irish songs that he gave me a pin that says HONORARY IRISHMAN on it. I'm wearing it today to remember that night and this day. Saint Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland; they all moved to Washington and became "Public Serpents." Sorry, I'll just get me hat... |

But do you know what St. Patrick actually SAID, when he drove the snakes out of Ireland? *Puts hands on imaginary steering-wheel & looks back over shoulder* "Are ye alright in the back there, lads?" |
