As the summer will be soon starting and travel gets easier, who are the young artists to look out for?

Why 'young artists' Keith?If I were you, I'd look out for our kid and his band, but he ain't that young! :-)

The reason is Paul I have a good idea of who,s about who are young but when I think about them they have been about for a while a good example is Lydia Noble a talented and young singer that we all know about. But possibly in Devon they do not know of her and conversely they have young performers we have not heard off. In my own way trying to get people to tell us which young ones to look out for

We did a concert with Lydia and Will last weekend. We're with them and Will Hampson & Bryony Griffith this Saturday at Shepley, (Concert in the CoachHouse) Lydia's interesting, she doesn't want to be a headliner and yet, she's a really good and skillful traditional singer. Something of a rarity among the current hatchlings. Matt, that's an interesting point, there are several 'older' acts who are 'new' to the festival/club circuit so are, technically 'young' acts. Many of these can knock their juniors into a cocked-hat when it comes to stagecraft. Watch out for Wendy Arrowsmith or The Bailey Sisters for example.

We're putting on a band at our club tomorrrow: Kim Lowings and the Greenwood. Tremendous young singer and writer who has her dad in the band with her just to keep the old ones happy!

I have young Lucy Ward and even younger Sunjay Brayne on at Faldingworth Live on Saturday March 30 2013. Now that is young.
