Well, Joe, both John and I will be in California in November and I am working on some other opportunities for us. Confirmed is November 16 at the SF Maritime Heritage Park Concert series.

I let Holly and Sue at the farm know about the concert when I stopped to buy my eggs last night. Sue was definitely interested. Working on Andy, too, he had a great time when he came to see Jed, so hopefully he will come to more house concerts. I also invited my massage therapist and her fiance.

Been a while since we have had to break out the inflatable mattresses. So far we have enough beds. It looks as if the Woodchucks' Revenge will attend and sleep at Kendall and Jacqui's. Everyone picks on me for being a lawyer. I'm not, at heart. I'm a folksinger/guitar player who had to practice law in the daytime because he couldn't make any money in his true calling. And now I'm retired from law practice. My license to practice is on "retired" status, so I don't know if I should be called a lawyer or not.

At least you guys aren't as mean as the person on another forum who, when I announced my retirement there, replied "A retired lawyer. That's the second best kind!"

I actually knew what Sins meant. I just wanted to encourage her to pay more attention to precision in use of language. Instead, I drove her into a fit of Spasmodic Capitalization. I apologize.

Peter, you may have "retired" but this still seems to be lawyer behavior. (Encouraging SINS to "pay more attention to precision... yada, yada, yada"). I'm quite sure you enjoy telling people you've quit, but I don't believe you've been going to meetings or following the 12 step thing or actually doing anything that shows you really want to recover.

The job looks more and more like it might go past the supposed end date, and I'm in a position that doesn't let me take Friday night off. I could possibly make it by 11 PM, but I'm guessing I might miss most of the music.

Damn fine show eh what? The joint was crawling with Brits, which is always refreshing.
John and Lisa put on a very fine performance. I made it through the main performance but I faded suddenly and just had to crash.
We need to get Woodchuck's Revenge back for as house concert.
