I have a friend who is looking to buy an acoustic guitar and will be in L.A. soon. (There aren't any good folk music shops here on the Big Island of Hawaii.) Can anybody give me names and locations of some good folk-oriented music shops out thataway?

Aside from McCabes Guitar Shop in Santa Monica, check out Westwood Music on Santa Monica Blvd. Fred Walecki is very knowledgable about guitars.
