Subject: RE: Lyr Req: I'm A Hog For You Baby From: Tom Date: 08 Nov 99 - 04:51 PM I think there is only one song with that title and it was written by Leiber And Stoller and was recorded by several artist and Clifton Chenier was one of them. I'm a hog for you baby I can't get enough of your love. When I go to sleep at night that's the only thing I'm dreaming of. Something like that. Need some verses. |
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: I'm A Hog For You Baby From: Jon W. Date: 08 Nov 99 - 05:10 PM "I'm a hog for you baby, I keep rooting around your door" - that's the one line I seem to remember from hearing this several years ago. I think there were also one or two versions sung in Cajun French. |
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: I'm A Hog For You Baby From: The Burren Ranger.(Ireland) Date: 08 Nov 99 - 06:04 PM Dear Harpgirl, The rare and classic One-note guitar solo occurs in The Coasters' 'Im A Hog for you Baby' released on the Atlantic label in 1959.... The single note guitar solo played for 12 bars is cleverly wrapped in a wash of sax riffs which hide the fact that it is indeed a single note played by the great session player Mickey Baker(Also part of Mickey & Sylvia who had a hit with 'Love Is Strange') |
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: I'm A Hog For You Baby From: Bugsy Date: 08 Nov 99 - 07:58 PM There is another "I'm A Hog For You Baby" which was recorded by Screaming Lord Sutch, back in the 50's I'm a hog for you baby, can't get enough of your love When I go to sleep at night you're the only thing I'm thinking of. Cheers Bugsy |

Chorus: I'm a hog for you baby, I can't get enough of your love(x2) When I go to sleep at night your the only one I'm dreaming of. This little piggy ate a pizza This piggy ate potato chips This little piggy's comin, over your house He's gonna nibble on your sweet lips cos (chorus) superb 1 note guitar solo! This little piggy went to London This piggy went to Hong Kong This little piggy's comin' over your house He's gonna rock you all night long cos (chorus) Cheers Ray |

Here's another verse to add to the above. The first little piggy went to London. The second piggy went to Paris France.
