Subject: Mick O'Connor From: GUEST,Lavengro Date: 24 Aug 13 - 10:39 AM Just wanted to let everyone know that Mick O'Connor (tenor banjo)has been given a Bardic Award at this months All Ireland Fleadh in Derry. I personally think it is great to see him getting this recognition. The contribution he has made to Irish music over the years is immense, as is his humility, helpfulness and humour. You cannot fail to like the man. Well done Mick! |
