Yes, it's Seasonal Singaround time again!

It's at The Old Nun's Head 15 Nunhead Green SE15 3QQ - a great pub with good food and real ale.

http://www.theoldnunshead.co.uk/

We'll be in the room upstairs. If you have a mobility issue, let us know and we'll do our best to get you up and down the stairs!

Everybody is welcome, either to sing or to listen, though we hope you'll at least join in the choruses ..... but you don't have to!

It's a friendly and informal atmosphere, so if you've never plucked up courage to sing in public before, why not come and give it a go. It doesn't have to be a folk song, though it usually turns out that most of the songs are folk-influenced in some way. Songs of any country or culture are welcome. Also a songs of a seasonal theme positively encouraged at this Singaround.

Many people sing unaccompanied, but you are welcome to bring an accompanying instrument - however please note that this is a Singaround ie songs not tunes! Please also note that we don't use PA, and this isn't an "open mic" night. There is no stage (well, there is but we don't use it for the Singaround) and no mic. You can sing from your seat if you want.

Tonight will have a slightly different format - so watch this space. Carols and seasonal songs in the second half.

The Singaround starts around 7.30pm - we are trying to encourage people to be on time! - and the finishing time is flexible. We have an interval at a suitable point somewhere in the middle ........

It is still free to get in, but we now pass a hat (actually a bag!) round at the interval to cover ongoing Goose expenses and to help keep down the ticket price of our other ticketed nights.

We suggest a donation of £2, but anything is welcome - and please don't feel you have to give anything if you can't afford it. It's a community singaround and we don't want to exclude anybody.

Lots more information about the evening from
