Established in 2007.. Moonbeams is a lovely relaxed night of lovely music.. dedicated to bringing the best acoustic, folk and roots music to East Yorkshire.

Moonbeams also has it's own Festival.. Now it's 5th year, the festival is set in the grounds of the Wold Top Brewery, perched on top of the Yorkshire Wolds.
The festival provides the perfect weekend away to enjoy world class folk music and award winning ales in the most beautiful surroundings!

Not only does Moonbeams boast a summer festival but a winter festival too.. Moonbeams March Folk Weekend.. held at the beautiful Bell Hotel in the market town of Driffield, the Capital of the Wolds.

Moonbeams Sunday Sing-Around
Sunday 9th February 2014
The Bell Hotel, Driffield, East Yorkshire

On Sunday 9th February I invite you to join us at The Bell Hotel in Driffield.
We will gather in the Oak Bar where you can sing, or just listen.
All are very welcome...
We will go around the room and ask for one item per solo performer.. and two from a duo, if they so wish..
This can be anything from unaccompanied singing to instrumental tunes. The aim is for people to get together in a friendly, relaxed environment & have the opportunity to air their music without the pressure of a staged performance.
Do hope you can join us!
This sing-around is Free..This is not an Open Mic so there is No PA... and there is no need to book! :-)

For watchers of Open Gardens I would highly recommend those at Wold Top Brewery which surround the house (whenever they might be open).
More and more garden rooms open up as you go round. Very special though all but impossible to find.
