Interesting, but in the UK the name "Reverb" may carry unfortunate associations
with a chain of high street music gear stores which went abruptly bankrupt only a few years ago.

This past week I attended the giant NAMM show in Anaheim.

One of the things I saw that might be of interest to 'Catters was a booth from Reverb.com. They have built a site for musical instrument and gear: "Reverb offers the best variety of tools to buy & sell gear, and the lowest listing fees of any major site. As musicians and gear lovers, we work to foster a community and make Reverb the best place to purchase music gear online."

Listings can be straight sales or auctions.

The blog on the site is called the GAS can. ;-)

Not a substitute for narrow sites like Banjo Hangout or Mandolin Cafe, but it looks like a good idea to me, if it grows enough.
