Subject: RE: Hull Maritime Concert 1st March 2014 From: ossonflags Date: 30 Jan 14 - 01:02 PM This will be the fourth FREE concert we have organised in the Hull Maritime Museum. Each one was very well attended and received. When we used it as a venue for the last Hull Maritime Festival two years ago, everyone(performers and audience) alike commented on this "jewel in the crown" . If you have never been in there you have a real treat awaiting you. Apart from the general architectural resplendence of the place and the excellent displays, the acoustic is pretty damned fantastic as well!! So come down on the first of March for a real 'ull (City Of Culture) treat!! |

Subject: RE: Hull Maritime Concert 1st March 2014 From: Steve Gardham Date: 01 Mar 14 - 05:31 PM Another great concert. All seats taken and others standing, people coming backwards and forwards wandering through the Museum, most staying for a while. Old friends from out of town turning up who only heard about it the night before. Some great performances once again and thanks to a very appreciative audience. Paul pointed out a painting of the Kearsage and the Alabama around the corner so we sang Roll, Alabama, Roll. Here's to the next one. I won't mention the City match. |
