Rasta asked me via PM for more information about recordings.

I heard the song on Spotify. According to Spotify, RIDE UP appears on two albums by The Cumberland Trio:

"The Cumberland Trio" (Fiery Grizzard Records, 2002)

"Lost & Found: The 1964 New York Sessions" (Fiery Grizzard Records, 2013)

A few other groups have also recorded it:

The Cherry Hill Singers, on "An Exciting New Folk Group" (Essential Media Group, 2009)

Les Baxter's Balladeers, on "Hootenanny! A Folk Festival – Presented by Jack Linkletter" (Goldenlane Records, 2011)

As may be expected, the words vary somewhat.

There are other songs with the same title.
