I can understand most of the song except the one line

"Aliens from bandladesh west __________ injunction"

cant understand, it sounds like brahman clop or something but thats obviously silly.

The recording is on "Hot Blast Contemporary songs Written and Sung By Peggy Seeger and Ewan Maccoll"

thanks guys

Sandra Kerr writes good stuff
Eric Bogle, of course. has a good humanist slant on writing
Not sure whether Leon Rossleson is still writing.
Back in the 1970s The Singers Club in London produced a series of magazines entitled 'New City Songster' which ran into 20 editions; it was made up of contributions from some of the best composers of contemporary (mainly political) material from Britain, America and Australia - long gone, but well worth searching out.
You probably are aware of the two anthologies of Ewan's and Peggy's writing
Apart from that - I'm a bit out of touch as we're now living in the West of Ireland
If I can be of any help, don't hesitate to PM me
good luck
Jim Carroll
