I've just found out that the lovely Sligo band Dervish are playing at the Avalon stage, Glastonbury Festival, at 3.45pm today. Wish I could be there!

We saw Dervish at The Gathering traditional festival in Killarney a few years ago; singer Cathy Jordan was just out of this world. I gave a four-star review to Dervish's latest CD in FolkWales Online Magazine, and since then Dervish have been one of my favourite Irish bands.
