I caught just a bit of Keb' Mo's performance on yesterday's Prairie Home Companion (July 28, 2014). I didn't hear him this song, but I guessed that was why you wanted the lyrics. Sure enough, he did the song on the part of the show I missed:

You're right Joe. That's where I heard it and figured it'd make a great jug band song. I used those videos and I think I've got it pretty close:
