I went whippet racing at Coppull Moor -- maybe has been going on since the days miners kept "the poor man's race dog"

I don't know any songs about Coppull but I'll be interested in seeing these lyrics

Have you grand plans for a Lancashire history songbook or recording or show/performance?

Sung by my grandfather many years ago, heard it once as a boy.
Tells of the coal mining on the local coalfield at Coppull pre-Great War. Ironically the site was used as a recreated battlefield in the 60s.
Trying to put together a history in song for Lancashire
