Marske Musicians sessions

I've often advised people on Mudcat - who are visiting North Yorkshire to visit our sessions at the Ship Inn Pub in Marske. Unfortunately for one reason or another we have moved on to the Top House at Marske ( officially called the Zetland Hotel) but everyone knows it as the Top House.
Every Wednesday (now) good landlord, nice atmosphere/acoustics and whether you just want to listen or play, come - and feel welcome.
Strangely - we're quite organised as no one is "in charge" so, if you want to sing - feel free, provided that you don't mind musicians sensitively playing along with you .
Almost every taste is catered for , we mix Trad and fun - no bother.

What time does the session start please and is there parking at the Zetland?

Hi Twiddler we start arriving around 8.30 There is parking but it is a bit of a lucky dip - sometimes you can park directly outside the pub and other times on a road parallel to the pub's car park. You'd need to see the situation first-hand to see what I mean, but it isn't a great problem unless you play something extremely heavy !!
