Cyril Tawney words and music

While looking for a song dedicated to CT, rathher than by him I followed a link to CT website only to find the home page of a London Kitchen Designer of the same name.

At first glance it looks like Cyrils material has disappeared off-line since Rosemary's sad death.

If anyone could tell me different I would be pleased to hear it.

If you scroll down to 'National' on this link, it suggests that there was a hefty deposit to the National Archives sound library in 2009. http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/accessions/2009/09digests/music.htm
I think Doc Rowe was helping Rosemary after Cyril died, so he would possibly be able to offer advice

Sadly, Cyril's website disappeared shortly after Rosemary's death.

Does anyone know who it's best to contact for permissions regarding Cyril's work? We're really keen to use Monday Morning for a project I'm working on. Any advice very gratefully received.

I'll be seeing Doc next month so I'll ask him, but other than that The Vaughan Williams Memorial Library might be a good place to start. Try the EFDSS website. I don't know if Cyril was registered with PRS.

My copy of the book states that Grey Funnel Line is copyright to Gwyneth Music Ltd so it might be worth Googling them. Off the top of my head the people who record his songs nowadays just rely on PRS picking it up sending royalties, but to whom I don't know, possibly Sir Cliff and Sir Paul if rumours are correct.
