Sid is fine and well and is limbering up for the annual titanic battle to wrest the trophy back from a Yorkshire team that won the battle last year - some say that Lancashire were robbed and who am I to disagree with them!

Only 7 weeks to go.......glad to hear Sid is doing battle once again to retins the coveted trophy but am sure he won't be too dis-cum-nockerated when we from t'other side o'thill win it back.

Great w/end at the return of Saddleworth folk festival. Some great acts including. Fabulous Sat'day neet with the Roads, Stanley Ackrington (amazing as ever) and a fab gig from the Oldham Tinkers (in their 50th year).

Then Sunday night we had the excellent Hut People and the irrepressible and achingly funny Les Bsrker finishing off with the tremendous sound of the Wilson Family. Many thanks to Ali O'Brien for bringing all back.
