Hi

Just watching our local news program.

It showed a Football International game between El Salvador and Argentina.

The teams lined up for the Nation Anthems before the game and the El Salvador team was lined up all with hands placed on their hearts. As the anthem played the players all looked around in confusion.

The hands fell from the hearts and everyone looked stunned.

They were playing the wrong Anthem !!!

Instead of El Salvador they played the Anthem of The Isle of Man.

This could have been much worse had it been anthems of deadly enemies !!

IF....they had been traditional....and not digital.

1. There is no doubt 12 brass players would have been employed for PAY for a day.
2. A dry cleaner's wuuld have received 12 uniforms for cleaning.
3. A director would have been congradulated rather than executed.

I can see now why they mixed up El Salvador with The Isle of Man.

It could it be that The Isle of man is known also as Ellen Vannin and the titles fall next to each other??
