Urgent - Rescue Mission.

htt//www.mustrad.org

The Mustrad website seems to be down - many pages - articles, news, editorial, etc. are all missing.

I guess folks might need to raid the Wayback machine at Archive.org to rescue the pages.

CJB.

Both the "P" and the colon are necessary.

Here is the blue clicky, CJB:

Sorry this is the link

http://www.mustrad.org.uk/

But I landed here via a Google search:

http://www.mustrad.org.uk/ssp/ssp_ndx.htm

and at the bottom of which are lots of broken links ...

http://www.mustrad.org.uk/ssp/articles.htm
http://www.mustrad.org.uk/ssp/news.htm
http://www.mustrad.org.uk/ssp/editor.htm

etc.

CJB.

at least one of us. the homepage came up just.

sampler.htm goes to 1&1 not even a 404. Is he working on it? He may reply. I am off to a MotoX (sidecars today) must rush.

I see no link to "ssp" or "sampler" pages from the Mustrad homepage, and every link I follow from there works.

Maybe Google found something outdated or temporary that should never have had a permanent link?

It looks as if there must be some orphan pages floating around but the main site seems to be OK. http://www.mustrad.org.uk/ works fine for me. That page doesn't have links at the bottom but pages linked in the left hand column (except MT Sampler as Mr Red has pointed out) do and they seem to work as far as I have tested them. The page that CJB found doesn't show up in the Sitemap. Nor does the MT Sampler page.

It looks as if it may need some tidying up but but I think it's a long way from needing an Urgent - Rescue Mission.

Dear Chris.

I moved all the SSP stuff to its own directory, but forgot to change the links you mention. This happened back in 2002 ... and you're the first person to mention it! Thanks very much.

Re: the Sampler page. That is very weird! Both the link from the home page and the sampler.htm are fine - but the link goes to 1&1 as you say. I re-uploaded index.htm and sampler.htm and all now seems to be fine. No idea what the problem was.

Thanks for all your comments.

Rod.

Wonderful to have this cleared up so efficiently- and congratulations to CJB for noticing and Rod for the fix.
