The Wakefield crew ~ Dave Nuttall's 1st and 3rd Sunday pm people will be in the Wickham as usual!

Town Hall for large guests!

There is of course a full programme of dancers, musicians sessions and more official concerts and floor spots

Commercial and Masonic venues are fine venues in their own right and of course the Hiring and smaller concert venues on Friday/Saturday and Sunday till 1030 at least!!

Camp site and parades and fairs as usual

Hope tthe festival is up to it's usual standard, I'm sure it will be.

We will be at Sark festival. Only ten miles away and by boat so it has to be done. Enjoy all.

Well it came and went. Some fab turns and tunes; Great to meet Martin Carthy and here him reminisce and see in concert in Civic (tho the hall wasn't packed); Hissyfit fab as ever; Damien Barber & Mike Wilson, Martin Wyndam-Reade, Stan Ackrington; the brilliant Young 'Uns and many more + pretty good weather. Thanks to all who organised.

It was bloomin' 'ot dancing - but better than the threatened rain which I got coming over from York. A good day out as usual.
