A message for the monsters crawling out from under stones in Kenya and the rest of Africa. What a bunch of sub-human morons you are. Until Africa jettisons "god" and "the prophet" and other imaginary friends - the very imaginary friends used to subject Africa to slavery - it will never become civilised. Homophobia is repellent and has no place in the civilised world. Likewise FGM, wifebeating, child marriage, and so many other evils that are defended in the name of tradition. Obama is right (if entirely too moderate). Remember, when the missionaries came to Africa, they had the bible and the Africans had the land. They told you to close your eyes to pray. When you opened your eyes, the missionaries had the land and all you had was the bible.

President Obama had the sense to take that rebuke seriously, we cannot go round the world determining the social policies of other cultures.

Homosexual "marriage" has now been legislated for in most of the West at the whim of the media and craven governments, but are our problems any better, we are ravaged by austerity, robbed by the system, our young people without ideals or a real chance to contribute to society.

"Gay marriage" is a non- issue everywhere, but used as a smoke screen to obscure the real inequalities in our society.

Plenty of places that have not jettisoned God, have established equal rights for their LGBT communities.
Obama himself is a Christian.
Has any country jettisoned God, never mind a continent!?

It was Christian reformers who ended to trans-Atlantic slave trade.

Obama is in Ethiopia now. The 'missionaries' got there before they got to the UK and about a millenium before they got the the USA.

Hate to disillusion you Bridge old son but British Christians did more to eradicate the slave trade in the world than any other group or organisation.

The greatest slavers in the world were Islamic and they still defend the practice and the institution of slavery to this day.

Now let us all here your outright condemnation of them for that stance.
