Subject: modern arrangement of Aiken Drum From: GUEST,pulling my hair out! Date: 02 Aug 15 - 09:04 PM Heard a male singer with a 4/4 arrangement, slightly more like bluegrass, but more guitar-based. Don't recall other instruments. Was on a children's CD. Don't know whether it was a single from a compilation or this performer's own album. I've searched YouTube and found reggae, calypso, marching and even big-band versions along with inestimable numbers of amateurs affecting Scottish accents and playing poorly in 2/4 time. Any help at all?!? Thank you! |
