My first time at this; has there been a programme published before the event in earlier years?
Is there one at the venue?
Would like to know when it finishes on Sunday so I know if I can get back to Whitstable easy enough.

I've been twice Adbul. I have to say financially it is great festival. Top acts, two main venues with peripheral smaller one's. Food is fairly basic but decent, as is the accommodation. The final concert finishes very late, you're probably best taking Monday off, enjoy your breakfast and take a leisurely journey home.

Been twice. Detailed programme was issued on arrival. Very good value. Good variety of food available (better than 'decent' IMHO).

Going for the first time too! Heard that there may be sessions in the pub and also an open mic somewhere, but we're going for the concerts and inexpensive weekend. Apparently you may need to go with the flow regarding queues and sound.

Last year there were tune sessions (a bit Irish, but not too bad) and a mixed song and tune session (a bit dull).

In the two years I went there were organised sessions in a morning and an open-mike in the evening. However an impromptu one (mainly singing) was started at lunchtimes in one of the bars which was surprisingly good.

Website slow but eventually got a price for 1 person double room plus Breakfast and Eve meal £180 three nights.
So you could say the Festival is free!

Chalets???? You're being a bit hi-de-hi aren't you? The accommodation is actually pretty good, especially if you go for the 'gold' version, although it all looks a bit like an army barracks from outside.
