Incidentally, we are all enigmas on here. I once actually met Keith Acheson, yet Keith A of Hertford has "confidently predicted" I have never met him. Nice in the music threads to hear from people you know in the real world mind.

Talking of the real world, shary posters get laid more than logged in posters who possibly get laid more than total anonymous posters.

Anyway, why the fascination with Musket? This is about logged in vs total anonymous and none of us fall into either category.

Guest#, just click on his name, or any manifestation thereof, and you'll find lots of music posts in his posting history. You may have to go back to find a "Musket" as well as a "Guest Musket" as they get listed separately. Some people are more active down here than up there, it's true, me included. I do my best to contribute meaningfully when I can and I read lots of threads that I'm not qualified to contribute to. The most important thing is that we are performers of traditional music. I wonder whether that can be said about all these bloody "Guests."

For a couple of years I posted as GUEST,Jim, then realised that there was at least one other GUEST,Jim posting and I didn't want to be taking credit or blame for his posts, so I decided to become an official member. I think anonymous posters have the same problem only to a greater degree. There are probably 4 or 5 GUEST posts for some threads which could all be the same person or could be 4 or 5 different people. It would be nice (In fact I thought it was a Mudcat rule) if folks would choose a GUEST name and keep it for at least each thread to avoid confusion.
