Subject: Lyr Req: Do I Have to Fall in Love Another Time From: Jacob B Date: 25 Feb 16 - 12:07 PM I woke up this morning with part of a song I haven't heard in decades in my head, and no idea of the author. Below is what I can remember of two verses and the chorus. Can anyone fill in the gaps? Do I Have to Fall in Love Another Time (author?) Why don't you make us both some coffee if you're really going to stay I need a drink of something when you look at me that way Your dress is long and pretty, it's been dragging in the dust .................. (Chorus) And I can feel it growing This feeling in my body and my mind And I need to be knowing Do I have to fall in love another time? Do I have to fall in love another time? No every film I've ever seen ............ ..................... And every book I've ever read has always had an end Just to say the story's over, and it won't be back again. |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Do I Have to Fall in Love Another Time From: maeve Date: 05 Mar 16 - 03:13 PM Jacob B., can you think of any details? Where were you, about when, was it on a radio station or LP etc., Male or female singer, group, orchestrated or other instrumentation...any small details will help Mudcat's song searchers to help you. |
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Do I Have to Fall in Love Another Time From: Jacob B Date: 08 Mar 16 - 12:35 PM Male singer, 30 or 40 years ago, played on one or more of the folk radio stations in Boston (Massachusetts) at that time. (I'm showing my age.) Tenor voice. I don't recall if the recording was just the singer with guitar, or if there was some other instrumentation with him. |
