Subject: RE: Mudcat - What Will It Become - 2000 From: Sandra in Sydney Date: 06 Apr 16 - 08:17 PM BS: The evolving Mudcat? What will it become? Opening post by Gutbuckereer Another thread prompted this thought. What is Mudcat evolving into? As I look at Mudcat it's becoming more than just a Website. A community A Virtual Town A Warren A family A New form of space and time. It's expanding and evolving. We are creating new ways to show our passion. We have our gathering places, our pubs and clubs, back alleys, our centers of knowledge, portait and recording studios. We have our sage advisors, our jesters, our outlaws, and solid citizens, our mudkids just reaching out to explore the world of music, and our stars. We now have our Confessor and mender/healer/universal friend. We share in each others joy's and sorrows, support one another, challenge and tease. We reach concensus. We agree to disagree. So what is the Mudcat? Where is it going? Max is the Creator of its center, the cross roads of our community. He is our urban planner and visionary. However, do planners, or parents, ever really know what they are creating? Whew! My brain is over heating from all of this thinking stuff. After all I am an engineer. :-) JAB ========= posts by long gone (to other interests or to that great session in the sky) - my friend Callie, well advanced in her music career, mother of a very talented 9 year old who leads the other kids in shanties; Spaw Kat; Rt Revd Sir jOhn from Hull ... thanks for reviving this thread, Gargoyle |
