Here's a good quote that I found. It's the motto for the clan MacCarthy of Desmond. I've already made it MY personal motto:

"Forti et fideli nihil difficile" --"Nothing is difficult to the strong and faithful"

A very important thought to aspire to Mbo.

When things get difficult for me my odds seem much higher with strength of faith and hope. And when I feel challenged, I find that strengh and hope help keep the joy in my spirit burning as I walk along a bumpy road.

Yeah, be strong and faithful and joyous on that bumpy road.......but I'd suggest you keep an eye on that Peterbilt bearing down on your asses too.

I'd just do what I usually do, slow down and let that big monster pass me.

Catspaw what is a Peterbilt?
I get worried sometimes that you may think I'm slow or stupid because I'm constantly asking you for an explanation.

Bonnie, a Peterbilt is a tractor-trailer. Well, a brand name anyway, like Mack, Freightliner, and in Japan, Hino. I think Eastern NC has more of them than anywhere else in the U.S. (at least in the way of dumptrucks.)

Often the road doesn't feel as bumpy if you get out and walk.

One of my favourite quotes:

Jed Clampett (talking about his nephew, Jethro): If brains was lard, that boy couldn't grease a pan

Gee, Pat, I was afraid you were sick, you were so slow on the uptake on that one--I don't know how you resisted the temptation to give Bonnie the old Spaw-zap when she asked that question. Are you beginning to mellow (Gawd, I hope not)?

My attempt to post the above failed: too many people trying to access the website--probably all posting the same thing I wrote above.

Probably owing to the facy that I was gone all day and we put up the tree and decorated it tonite with the "help" of Tris and Mike who are into that wonderful time of childhood when Christmas is best. It took time, patience, my sanity, and awhile to get the job done!

So you and BB still playing nekkid banjos?
