"Incomparable" is right! I just saw him at the Mystic Sea Music Festival where he looked chipper and sounded fine. He wasn't on the bill, but as the emcee of an evening concert he sang a few songs.

So sad not to see you there Maeve.

The concert was wonderful. John apologised in advance because he was concerned that, being out of practice, he might forget words but no apology was needed - he was his usual amazing self. He was accompanied by his other half, Lisa, who is a virtuoso harp player. She had one harp that was very unusual - can't remember what she called it, but it had a very distinctive sound, which suited some of John's songs perfectly.

We had a good turnout, which was pleasing and I think eveeryone went away happy. I know that Kendall and I did.
