"A Tribute to Christy Moore by Jason Hinchey Silk from Bournemouth at the United Reformed Church in Kendal on Saturday 13th August 2016. The first half of the evening features support artists Chris Stern (compere); The Fellside Singers; Peter Dilley (singer-songwriter); Mike Atack (blues); Sue Little and Don Lewthwaite (duo); the Burneside Brummers and the fabulous Smith Corona (bluegrass trio)."

Is there a special reason why people are doing a tribute for Christy Moore (when he's doing tribute concerts himself in support of the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre)?

I suppose that tributes are done because he's damn good, and that money fom the gig goes to good causes. Who can gainsay...?
