On Sunday, September 25, 2016 Na Mara will be appearing in Hull, together with Joe Solo at an event to raise money for the Hull International Brigade Memorial Group . The group is raising money to finance a new open air memorial to the men from Hull who volunteered to fight in support of the Spanish Republic against Franco's fascist uprising in 1936. The concert is from 5PM. until 7.30 PM and will take place at St Mary's Church in Lowgate, Hull. FOR TICKETS AND MAP CLICK HERE

Tickets cost £5 plus 80p on-line booking fee and there are only 60 left today.

Joe will be playing songs from his No Pasaran album and Na Mara will be playing and weaving tales about the Guernica children who came to the Uk on the Habana in 1937 to escape the horrendous bombing of Bilbao.All money goes towards the building of a memorial to the 8 men from Hull who fought in the Spanish Civil War. 4 came home and 4 died out there. Please share info about this gig far and wide
