I have one folk LP for sale from 1968 by The Valley Folk.
LP is called, "All Bells in Paradise" on Topic Records, Ltd. out of London, England.
The Valley Folk are a singing quartet are from Lancashire, UK and their names are: Jean and Elaine Carruthers, John Dickinson and Stephen Heap.
All 16 songs are Christmas songs sung in acapella by the quartet.

$10.00 for LP plus postage within USA. I am in USA.
I have to check cost of postage but can ship Media Mail which is the least expensive.
LP is in excellent shape as is the cover.

To Leadfingers:

It might be a little difficult to do sale to London because I don't know how the payment could sent to me in dollars? I do not have Paypal or other credit acct. to have payment made to so it would have to be sent to me in cash. ($10.00 in U.S. currency) and heavily concealed around several sheets of paper in the envelope with no coins.

If you sent me pounds it would be hard for me to cash (without a fee ) (if you sent pounds that is). I don't know what the postage would be to send LP to London, England either as I have never sent a LP overseas before.
But if you are still interested let me know.
Thank you,
Lin

Lin, you're a Mudcat member, yes? If so, please sign in and send me a PM with your correct name and mailing address. I'll give you the mailing address via PM once I hear from you.

If you are not a Mudcat member I think Joe Offer would be willing to help us exchange information. We don't want our personal info here. ;)

I will buy the LP on Leadfinger's behalf. I'm in the US, and can send you payment for the LP and media mail postage. You can mail it to me, then I will get it to him. Please slip in some cardboard to sandwich the LP for safe travel here.

Thank you,
Maeve

This takes me back to hearing the Valley Folk in the beach store at Sidmouth festival.... long before Steve Heap became the festival Director! I've just let John Dickinson know about this thread..

Told Jean about it tonight and she was quite surprised. She also pointed out that it was the 50th anniversary of the group this last week on the 7th of November.

Thanks, Robin any Kitty! How appropriate!

I hope communications with Guest Lin will work out so that Leadfingers, who will appreciate all it offers, can have the LP- with a little help from a friend in the US.

Got this album for my 21st and I still have it; some good stuff on it too although while there are a fair few Christmas items on the record it is actually carols from all year round.

No idea. Guest, Lin may not be able to check in as often as some can. I'm ready when she is able to make contact.

Lin- I think I remembering you being in touch with Joe Offer in the recent past. If that's so, perhaps you'd be willing to email him your contact information (email and especially mailing address) asking him to send it on to me via PM, we can get this transaction moving. :)

To Maeve:

Hi, It's Lin here. I just became a member. Thought I might have been already but I wasn't - I am now. I don't know how to send you a personal message though. I am new to this as far as sending a personal message. Please let me know. Do I click on your name and then what is next to do? Sorry...I am not too tech. minded so an easy explanation on how to send you a personal message would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Lin

Hey, welcome to Mudcat officially then, Lin! Good for you!

See the PM next to my name where this message says, "From"? Click on that, you'll go to a page where you can fill in the subject then your message. Hit send, then watch for me to reply.

When you have a message waiting you'll see a little note at the top of this page. You can also click on "Personal" to get to your own page where you can read and send messages to members, look up your posts, and other delights.
