Subject: US political Songs in 1930's From: GeoffLawes Date: 05 Dec 16 - 09:44 AM I am trying to find out about songs sung in the US during the 1930's and 40's which supported the anti-fascist side in the Spanish Civil War. I have come across references in books, such as Robbie Lieberman's " My Song Is My Weapon", to people singing such songs at political rallies and fund-raising events but have not found many titles or lyrics given to these songs. Can anyone give any information on this topic please? |
