I was delighted to discover that here are three videos of Derek Brimstone on Youtube, totalling 3 1/2 hrs in toto. These were posted by Colin Whyles, whom I do not know personally, but who deserves our gratitude for creating a permanent record of one of the true legends of the English folk scene.

This video is an hour and a half recording of his performance at Colchester Folk Club in 1994, and you will see the thumbnails for two other videos in the sidebar for his performance at Wivenhoe Folk Club, also in 1994.

Admittedly there is a fair amount of duplication of material in these videos , but hey ...who cares ...it's Derek Brimstone, and personally I can never get enough of him.

He was also a regular performer at the 'Country Meets Folk' radio shows.

I wonder how many of those shows are still extant in piles of cassette recordings in folks attics?

I did a good video of Brim at Banbury folk club 2005 and sent him a copy. He called me and said "Thank you so much for that and I will put it in a draw as I can't face watching myself"

I have earlier Bedworth as well.

Advice from Brimo and others for any u tube release having so much respect for a great memorable performer would help here perhaps
