I saw this song referred to on an Irish language forum. Does anyone know the words and the tune? The person who was talking about it said it was a very famous song.

It could very well be 'Casadh an tSúgáin, but I'd appreciate if someone could verify that for me. The person who was discussing this was someone that would know 'Casadh an tSúgáin, so I'm thinking that it is probably another song altogether.

Never heard tell of it. This is a new one on me and I'd be delighted to have both words and a guide to the tune. The use of "rua" with "súgán" puzzles me just a little. Annraoi
