A long time ago when I was little, one of the songs me mum sang to me went:

Old Mother Hubbard went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water,
Jack and Jill jumped over the moon,
And the [something] with [somebody's] daughter,
Three kittens lived in the old woman's shoe,
Red Riding Hood's wolf ate up Little Boy Blue,
It bit Cinderella, oh how she did scream,
And that's what sweet Marjorie saw in her dream.

Seems to me there should be more to it - does anyone know?
