You are my last hope! I'm trying to figure out who sang this song, where somewhere in the song, the singer says, "get that goat outta here", followed by somebody imitating a goat. I thought it was Fats Waller, but I can't find it associated with him...

It's also shouted in one of Jelly Roll Morton's Red Hot Peppers records, as "Man, get that goat outta here". Billy Goat Stomp, recorded in 1927 at Victor Studios in Chicago.

With calypso, most musical subjects can be related to humour and actual happenings. So it is with the Mighty Sparrow and his 1959 composition *Goaty* from MELODISC 1491.
Check out this great"Caribbean All Star Band" accompaniment!.
