Our diary is now up to date for March and April on our Website but coming up we have

Sunday 5th March Cheam Folk Club
Wednesday 8th March Cheshire Cheese in Little Essex Street London

Details in the diary and links to Tall Ships Festival in Greenwich, Rochester Sweeps Festival, Ruskin House St Georges Day, our regular Mycenae House ceilidhs with Scold's Bridle as our guests for March and our own album launch in April supporting Martin Simpson.

Hope to see some of you there - do come and say hello

Sarah

Great evening at Cheam Folk Club last night and now gearing up for an evening in a pub in London near Temple station with very nice beer and an interesting history on Wednesday 8th March. We start at 8pm with a 10pm finish. The Cheshire Cheese is in Little Essex Street. The pub does food too

Is Cheam open to the general public? They don't publicise themselves and the website makes it look like a social function for members of the sports club that hosts it.

Yes it is open to anyone. Always first Sunday of the month. They have Scolds Bridle in April (2nd). There is no entry fee and they get the room for free. Cheap beer at the bar too. BUT it is now an early start - 6-8.30pm. Always a great range of instruments and different styles of songs and for many of the instrumentals everyone joins in. Lovely little club - I think they are about to get their act together and do a facebook page, twitter etc
