Mike Reinstein has been writing and performing songs all his life. Back in the 1970s he was in a band called 'Doris' playing folk clubs and colleges. Following her demise, he set forth on a career path that included delivering false teeth, writing for Melody Maker, cold-calling, being a dramatherapist in forensic settings and most recently and specially, singing with children in primary schools. And always, he sang in clubs and continued to write and record songs.
Mike released his second album 'A Long March Home' on the Irregular Records label in 2015 to great critical acclaim.

MARK ORCHIN & BONNIE FLITNEY

Click here to see a photo of them.

Bonnie Flitney and Mark Orchin have been members of Sussex Folk Rock band touchstone since 1990 and are currently about to release their 6th album. They draw their musical influences from many styles and genres of music but primarily folk music. Mark & Bonnie have been the main songwriters for Touchstone throughout their career and their original compositions have a unique twist as most songs are based around Sussex historical events, e.g. the Lewes snow avalanche, shipwrecks and so on. In 1995 the pair entered the best new artist competition at the National Folk Festival and beat all other entrants to win the contest going on to play many UK festivals both as a duo and with Touchstone. Mark was the music teacher at Lewes Old Grammar until he retired recently and ran a successful folk band who performed 3 times at Lewes Folk Festival - Expect a feast of Sussex flavoured songs and tunes.
